  • In the latest iteration, the Pixel 8 takes a leap in performance, courtesy of Google’s impressive G3 Tensor processor. While its 6.2-inch OLED display might be slightly smaller than its predecessor, it still packs a punch. Although it’s not LTPO like the Pixel 8 Pro, it showcases a noteworthy 120Hz refresh rate and boasts a peak brightness that soars to an impressive 2,000 nits.
  • Camera enthusiasts will be delighted with the Pixel 8’s two-camera setup, featuring an enhanced 50MP primary camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera. What’s more, both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will grant access to the new AI-powered editing tools within Google Photos, including the game-changing Magic Editor and Best Take.
  • However, it’s worth noting that despite the more compact display size, the Pixel 8 follows in the footsteps of the Pixel 8 Pro with a $100 price hike, setting its starting price at $699 (or $799 if you opt for Verizon). Color choices include rose, black, or hazel, and pre-orders are already underway, with shipping anticipated to commence on October 12th.

3. Android 14 on the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro

Google now rolls out the Google Pixel 8 and the pro models with the latest android 14 version. This also means more stability and a more fresh feel for the users.

4. Google Assistant is smarter on the Google Pixel 8 series

Now the Google assistant includes AI in it, thus enabling it to be smarter than ever. Unlike the previous versions the new assistant will be able to do more complex tasks.
